In the new Dukes of Hazzard, the part of Daisy Duke is played by Courtney Love. In the movie, Daisy, who's been away and living in the big city, returns to Hazzard County. She comes storming into town on a motorcycle, handlebar in one hand, an open 5th of whiskey in the other, smoking an old stogie she had found (short but not too big around). Uncle Jesse immediately goes into cardiac arrest. Boss Hogg has her arrested. In the courtroom Boss Hogg says to her, "You know you've been brought here for drinking". Daisy replies, "Great. When do we start". About this time the Duke boys show up and rescue her. As they drive into the sunset on the General Lee, Roscoe P. Coltrane calls Cooter a Dipstick!! Someday the mountain might get them, but the law never will.
