Oh yeah, that movie was awesome, and you had to love some of the twists it had on the plot. He he, and you gotta love Malvo's rat and how he's always complaining about that cat chasing it. After seeing the movie, I decided to get a few Harry Potter books. What they hey?

That confirms it, Dr. Flea dipping into some Harvey Potter books, it is a cult.

I wouldn't call it a cult. If you pick up one of those books you can't put it down, though. I remember when the 4th book came out right after I came home from some 3 week foreign exchange trip and I got it and read the whole 734 pages in a little over a day. I was just so engrossed in it I did little else.

A cult??? So reading a book and watching a movie that is FICTION and enjoying them is now being in a cult? Never knew that. People read WAY too much into this Harry Potter stuff. It is called entertainment, that's all it is. Their are definately worse things in books out there. No one ever had a problem with Merlin. How is Harry Potter any different? What do little kiddies dress up as a lot in halloween, witches. Does that make them have to be witches. If you were just being sarcastic then alright, that's fine, but ya never can tell with how people have actually reacted to these books. It's kinda sad when you hear someone say it's devil worship and that stuff when all the books are is some good entertainment. So if you were being serious then I feel you get the wrong message from the Harry Potter series.

I dont think he is calling it a cult, he is saying is has a cult following. Its somewhat like Star Wars, people go nuts over it. It's not quite a cult but it could easily become one.

You got it England. Good comparison to the Star Wars groupies. I just find it interesting how many people are hooked on Harvey Potter. All ages are frothing at the mouth to get the next book or see the next movie.
