The game against Claysburg was pretty disappointing even though we did win. The score was 2-1 since the first inning and everybody was really getting in it as the pressure was building. One of those games that every out is huge. We had half an inning left to shut them down and all of a sudden they say line up and shake hands. For me its another reason to be mad at their coaches because they ruined a great game. The home plate ump ole Terry Diehl even went over to their dugout and told their coaches not to put Lingenfelter back in as he was warming up. You cant blame Bedford's coaches for enforcing the rules. What if Claysburg had won by cheating the rules? Thats the only reason Springer did it. He explained to us after the game that it wasnt a move to try and win but to protect us from being cheated. A good while after the game there were still a bunch of people from both teams standing around the bleachers and you could tell people were disappointed. You can probably understand Ms. Lingenfelter's disappointment when Josh Lingenfelter got a loss on the mound.
