The "F" Bomb

Post by CRLionDawg »

Was it ok for VP Dick Cheney to drop the "F" Bomb on Senator Patrick Leahy? He allegedly came unwound on Sen. Leahy and was quite graphic with his language in communicating his concern about comments made by the Sen.

Big deal or not?

Leahy is a jerk; He's lucky these guys are old wusses. There are about 75% of the jokers in Washington that just plain need some reality slapped into their sad biased heads.

If you wreck your car into a tree, are you gonna drop the bomb or are you gonna say "Well, golly gee...isn't this unfortunate?" If you are really ticked, just go for it and be done with it.

If you drop a spoon on the floor or something along those lines, its just not needed. All it does is show that you are an uneducated fool with a limited vocabulary and can't think of anything better to say.

I only drop the F bomb when I slice a golf ball into the trees or miss a putt 3 feet or shorter. Anybody out there who golfs will probably agree with me.

I drop the "F" bomb whenever thinking about going golfing, the thought of inhaling profusely that terrible all the time at one sport causes me pain and anger before i even get there, but in the end i go, and still get mad.

F bomb

Nowadays, is "F" a bomb, or just a firecracker?

I'm not a DC fan, but I like him better because of this for some reason that my mother and my grade school teachers would never have understood.

I consider myself to have a plethora of verbal utterances at my beck and call -- but take away Mr. EF and I'm a broken man.

Obviously our temperance for select vocabulary has changed over the years. Who can ever forget the scene from the CHristmas Story where the youg toe-headed boy drops the F-bomb in front of his old man who invented the F-bomb. As I recall he spent some time with Ivory Soap in his mouth.

I've always felt, no matter what the situation, that the use of this word is never necessary. If that is the only way you can find to express yourself, then it probably isn't worth saying. But that's just me, and it's an argument I know I'll never win.
