HS Football Broadcasts in Bedford County
Thanks, yugo. Only one Ridge game on WAYC? Somebody missed the boat there.
Couldn't agree more. Not just Ridge either, how about the other county schools as well?
Bedford - 6 games
Everett - 4 games
Chestnut Ridge - 1 game
NBC - 1 game
Tussey Mountain - 0 games
You'd think this was the Bedford Gazette making this schedule with the Bedford slant. Now we'll hear Gunner with his Bedford plays better competition, and if the rest of the schools played better competition and if the moon and stars line up, and if and if and if and blah, blah, blah......

I guess it all gets down to money. Who spends the bucks for advertising and who listens?

I would guess you could find businesses to advertise on here and sponsor something like that.

Re: HS Football Broadcasts in Bedford County
I would really like to do live broadcasts (which would take a dedicated server at 50 bucks a month), but if we can't do that it would still be kinda cool to have two or three guys from bc go and video tape and talk about the game and maybe even interview players and then we could get it up on BC as soon as possible for people to watch who did not get to see or hear the game. That would be very possible. We could convert the video into divx files and break them up into chunks so people could download them. Would be a start anyway.

Re: HS Football Broadcasts in Bedford County
Everett radio will be broadcasting again this year. Sam Shuss will still be there, but I hear Mike Eichelberger is going to be the other commentator this year. Mike will not be on air this weekend, so there will be a 'special guest' announcer. Tune in to see who it will be. You may be very surprised. I am excited to see how this person does on radio and what his insights will be to the game. I think there are two games this week, Friday and Saturday.

Analyst - it was on the radio this evening who the "special" guest will be. I won't blow your secret though.
