We have had some issues with the Revolution helmets. We found that you have to make sure that you keep them pumped up. The air leakes out easy, so lube the needle with dish soap. This will seal better than anything. If you do not keep the Revolution helmets pumped, they are worse than a regular helmet without air.
Personally, I like them, lighter and better periferal vision.
Goals
It is best to avoid standing directly between a competitive jerk and his goals.
Regret
It hurts when you make mistakes-but when they're big enough, the pain only lasts a second.
Stupidity
Quitters never win, Winners never quit. But those who never win and never quit are IDIOTS!

tests show that most concussions come from eye level down and the revolution addresses this issue with the extended jaw and facemask attaching to the jaw. on impact to the jaw area the structual design of the revolution will absorb the force because the facemask is fastened to the jaw piece and for the jawpiece to give the facemask would have to give,,,,,,,,with the schutt they dont have the jaw piece and the piece below the ear is very flimbsy. schutt has come out with the schutt DNA this year and nocsae backs them but the research isnt their and the helmet is designed to protect mainly the top of the head and thats the sturdiest part of the head,,,,,,,the university of pittsburgh claims that the revolution has reduced concussions by 30% for thos that are wearing them,,,,,upmc is a world leader in concussion sceince and have a new test out to determine the severity of a concussions and the time needed for recovery,,,,,,,,

warriorcoach,,,,,,,,,you can get lube from your riddell salesperson to lube the needles

Goodbuddy,
That was spoken like the ad department for the Revolution folks wrote it.
You can list studies all you want.Show me 10 people that will let you repeatedly beat them in the head for a study.
I know several people in the sports medicine field, and the Revolution will reduce the chances of a concusion, it's very minimal, much less than 30%. The best thing to reduce your chances of a concusion is a shock absorbing mouthpiece. The revolution helmet is a great idea, but needs further advances before I'm sold...... Heck their advertisements tell you what they were designed to do; they don't actually claim that they do it. That itself oughtta speak volumes
"Don't argue with stupid people; they'll drop you to their level and beat you with experience."
