X-Country Results

Post by flash40 »

On Saturday, 2 local teams ran at the Forest Hills Inv. Believe that both CR and Bedford boys fared well, although don't think CR gils had a team? Not sure of times, any help is appreciated.

Ridge defeated United and Bedford today, while dropping to Richland at the Richland meet. Not sure of times or anything as of now.

What were the times? Oh, and tell Ernie Ickes and Logan Showalter than Ben Oldham said hey and keep up the good work. Did Sasha Kaurt go out for football or for cross country? If he went out for xc, then Ridge should be able to get five guys under 20. Heck, they already have 4 at 20 or below. That's good depth. But this Pfaler kid, I saw him run in jr. high, and I don't think he can cut it that well. But then, last year my first run was a 22 as well, and on an easy course, before I got to the 19s. But I don't think he's a distance guy. One mile in 5:40, but 2 miles in no less than 13 minutes.....

fleaflicker what makes you think you can judge how well a runner is going to be based on 8th grade running? Don't judge these runners until you see them.

I agree with he11cat....don't judge them yet. I think Pfaler is a good runner actually. And also, Sasha went out for soccer this year.
Chestnut Ridge Lions...let's step it up a notch this year! 8)

I was just judging for this year, not for anything beyond that. He's doing alright for a freshman to get 22 minutes I guess, but I won't judge anything beyond this year. Next year, year after, who knows? I wonder what Donnie Sanner will do in track this year. Hmmm. I look forward to hearing how well CR xc does this year, they certainly have the goods.

As I recall fleaflicker, your last year of running wasn't exactly.....stellar. You're degradation of other runners merely indicates your complete LACK OF UNDERSTANDING. Since when does someone's freshman year project out their entire high school career? Next time, think before you talk.

fleaflicker this freshman will beat your best time from last year by the end of this season. Don't act like you are all knowing. You didn't impress anybody last year.
