Will Bonds do it?
Will Bonds do it?
Barry Bonds hit homerun number 699 last night. What does anyone think...Will he break the record or wont he?

if he stays healthy and plays a few more seasons and people actually pitch to him...i don't see y he wouldn't break it!

Re: Will Bonds do it?
That is up to Barry himself. There's no doubt he can break it. The question is will he stick around long enough to do it or not. So the only person that knows that answer is him.

Barry has, I believe, 41 HR's thus far this year and will likely end the year somewhere in the mid-40's and with just over 700 career HR's. With a similar season next year and even with a few less HR's next year, he would be just below Aaron's record. Barry Bonds is too full of himself to not come back for another year to hit a couple and break the record.
