College players in the NFL...

This spurs the debate...

I saw this on NFL.com and it was for the opening day rosters.

The 10 schools with the most active NFL players on Kickoff Weekend were:

1. Miami, Fla. (43)
2. Florida State (39)
3. Notre Dame (38)
4. Tennessee (38)
5. Florida (36)
6. Georgia (36)
7. Ohio State (36)
8. Michigan (35)
9. Penn State (32)
10. LSU (31)

Now when I talk about PROGRAMS this is the type of list I thought I'd see, and I'd think we'll continue to see....

Notes: There are no CURRENT Big East schools on this list, and the B10 has three schools in the Top 10.

Well from looking at the top 10 it looks like more SEC schools have players in the pros than any other conference...and this somewhat confirms a section in the LSU media guide that the SEC has more players in the pros...and remember that Miami is number one and they were in the Big East until this year...

Who has better teams though. Who cares about the League, heck bad teams send people to the league. PSU is terrible bottom line!

Incredible. THAT was the best he could come up with? He can't even take it like a man and say.."hey you know you're right, the Big10 has sent a lot of kids to the pros"

Instead he gives an incoherent response with "Who cares about the League, heck bad teams send people to the league."

I agree with ya holly...you're right...those players that went to the NFL didn't take into consideration the quality of the football program when they picked their respective school. Luck of the draw took them to Big 10 schools!
