2004 Presidential Campaign Humor
2004 Presidential Campaign Humor
It doesn't get any better than this:
"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —George W. Bush, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004
I wondered why my wife's "doc" looked so pi$$ed off the other day.
(In fairness, I'll add a Kerry gaffe next.)

Here's and old one:
Kerry: "For those of us who are fortunate to share an Irish ancestry, we take great pride in the contributions of Irish-Americans," he was quoted in the Congressional Record, St Patrick's Day, March 18, 1986.
There's just one little problem with that one – Kerry's not Irish.

Good one Foghorn. Kerry is catholic but his heritage is Jewish. Ironic!

That's just another example of Kerry trying to be something he's not, depending on who he's talking to.
How about the oldie but goodie, when talking to auto industry folks in Detroit, Kerry bragged about owning SUV's. But when talking to the tree huggers, he denied it, saying his wife owned them.
The guy will talk out of both sides of his mouth for a doggone vote. How can anyone trust someone like that?

Re: 2004 Presidential Campaign Humor
this isn't something that someone said, but it's still pretty funny.
there's this girl in the chestnut ridge marching band that plays trumpet and she's all about kerry, one day she just would not shut up about how good kerry is and how bush will bring america down. well, we got sick of it and just told her to shut up but she continued so we took a bunch of bush/chaney stickers and put them all over her trumpet case...she was pretty pissed, but it was still funny

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
