RIDGE VS. CLAYSBURG

Were they in the ICC at that time? Who were some of the teams they played against? What happenned to Fran Harlan?

Yes they were in the ICC and they played teams like we play now!! Mr. Fran Harlan is now the golf coach at CR and a history teacher for 11th grade. He was a really good coach!!

To clear up a few things.

This is the first time that CR has been 3-0 since '83. In '86 ridge started playing Bedford the third game and never beat Bedford. Tied them in '90.
Then in the mid 90's Forest Hills moved into the third spot for awhile.

In '83 Coach Harlan's team went 9-1 lost I think game 5 to Claysburg at the Snake Pit. They really stole won from us that night! Claysburg ended up 9-1 also losing to a real good NBC team led by Brian Koontz that Ridge beat in week 8. HR can correct me if I'm wrong.

Dawg, no playoffs back then just the regular season.

wow this is a very sad thing to happen for claysburg and the rest of our area school districs..... I know the lions went into this game with a big head and now they went out with a bigger head.... i sure hope all of the readers of this website are ready for the onslaught of arrogant comments comming from the ridge fans and players

First off you have 1 post and you don`t know anything about Ridge football players!! They are some of the most humble guys you will meet!! So the next you open your mouth make sure you know what your talking about!!!
