2005 Ultimate Duals
I was just on their site, and the 8 teams in this years' UD are Brookville,Mifflinburg,Mt.Pleasant,Northern Lehigh,Northwestern Lehigh,Port Allegheny, Reynolds, and Tyrone. No Forest Hills. What's up with that? Rangers going for top seed in dist. duals by softening up the schedule?

Re: 2005 Ultimate Duals
RIDGE VS. CLAYSBURG would be a good dual!!
This match would go right down to the wire!!

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Re: 2005 Ultimate Duals
tyrone only got an invite for the brookville duels after claysburg was invited and had to decline because of admistration issues. the rumor i heard is that tyrone is also not going now because of the fear of not making it to district duels. wouldn't it be ironic if tyrone wasn't going because of the same reason that you busted on forest hills for not going.

Re: 2005 Ultimate Duals
Your info source speaks from his spinchter. We will be there. Look at Tyrone's schedule, is it the schedule of someone who's worried about a W/L record?!? It's a schedule to ready a team for District Duels and individual Districts. .......BTW , What exactly is administrative issues? ha,ha,...lol, I have my own word for it.

believe what you like for now eaglealum, but you'll have some apologizing to do soon enough. also, i was wrong with admistration issues, it was scheduling issues or conflicts. i caught your sarcastic meaning. claysburg has been to the ultimate duels and wanted to go back. just couldn't. but when you find out that what i said is true, i'll probably be waiting for an apology that won't happen because you're too arrogant for your own good.

Depending on if tyrone can go to New York will determine if they will be going to the UD, just what a little birdy told me

Maverick,
Did the board flip flop again? Last time I talked to "that little bird" they told him no outta state comp. That's the only way Tyrone wouldn't go to Brookville, and that's because there's more competition at every weight, and we've been going for since the inception of the Tourney 3years ago, last years Eastern States Tourney had numerous Beast placewinners and several nationally ranked kids(one of which Tate beat 9-3)and something like 37 teams from 6 states.
Dawg, I will apologize,........... after the District Duels!

eagle,
an apology after district duels? what's that have to do with anything? i was talking about the fact that tyrone won't be at the ultimate duels. you said my source speaks from his "sphinchter". i said you are wrong. when you discover that i'm right, that is when i'd be waiting for the apology. as far as district duels goes, sure tyrone is the heavy favorite. tyrone returns almost their entire line up from last year plus kids coming up. i'm sure you believe they will destroy the rest of the field so i won't waste space pleading a case. tryone is the favorite to repeat. let them carry that on their shoulders this year.

Re: 2005 Ultimate Duals
Dawg,
As far as the UD goes, they will be there unless the board allows them to go to New York to a bigger tourney which is the same weekend. If they aren't allowed, they will seek the best competition possible, which is in Brookville, a tourney they are already in, for now anyway. I grant you the possibility is there that they won't be, but if you look at the Eastern States Tourney and who's there and who will be there, that's not exactly ducking competition. If they were worried about duel w/l records, they wouldn't schedule Indian Valley,Lewistown,West Branch, Penns Valley, Mount Union, BEA, and Phillipsburg for duel meets.
