Tussey Football-Coaches

I have been reading bleacher coaches the last couple months or so but have never posted until now. I think the Tussey coaches are doing a good job in football. Coach Nace is trying his best but is the school board there helping any at all?? I have heard through grape vine of some crazy things going on there. I hope in deed Coach Nace is back. If not though there are some names out there. Maybe just maybe try to bring in a Max Shoemaker or go with a guy who has experience there in Coach Don Donaldson. Now Coach Shoemaker would bring alot to this program. Or maybe go with a younger guy say a AJ Nastasi who brings Div 1 experience and time as a GA at WVU. I have read the posts that a HOLLYWOOD is posting and I gather it is him. He seems very knowledgable and confident and heck there is nothing wrong with that. SO a Max Shoemaker might be the person or a younger very energetic AJ Nastasi might be the answer or maybe bring in both of them. Any thoughts?? Personally I hope to see Coach Nace back at the helm as he seems like a good energetic young coach. Give him a chance but I am interested in anyone else's opinion on this.

i dont think tusseys program has anything to do with coaching but lack of discipline by the kids how can kids miss a year of sports in general and expect to pick up where they left but parents and others expect this to happen which hampers the team chemistry if someone does not want to grow with the team dont come back later and disrupt them i am disappointed in the coaches for not having extra activities for the players who walked off and gave up on the team, coaches, and fellow players

The almighty answer to this program isn't finding that right guy who is out there somewhere...it just very well may be the ones playing jr. high ball right now.

Losses to Williamsburg, No. Bedford...and (Southern will be tough in Nov.) may have taken away what people thought they would get done as ninth graders but good things are on the horizon....

I agree with you sneakers. I just hope Coach Nace is there to see it get done, but based on what I am hearing about the school board there I dont no If Coach Nace will want to come back. I hope he does. Tussey certainly has the athletes. I guess I was just proposing " WHAT IF" coach Nace doesnt want to come back what might happen there as far as searching for a new football Coach and I was throwing out some names.

Talking to a parent that I highly respect gave me the feeling that I may not know all that is going on though. Best I keep quiet.

They do have some athletes there and I heard they were playing and hitting NB hard!!
