I'd say Purdue by 21 points. It'll probably be something like 35-14. Another rough one for the Lions.

Yeah home does have something to do with it. Look at all of Purdue's wins and you will see that people will be all over them with their money. This is the typical sucker bet, as was the WVU game last week when I called it. Yeah sometimes the suckers win, but Vegas isn't rich for no reason. Look how many people here have already picked Purdue by much more than 11. The line is a sucker line, I'm telling you.

Add another to the list that would pick Purdue to cover...and many of these guys are PSU fans to say the least. I'm telling you...bettors are all over Purdue. I can see why though. With a line this low, I am thinking EASY MONEY! This is what they want me to think though?!?!? Maybe I'm overkilling/overanalyzing this, but this is the kind of game people lose a boatload of money on.

That is probably another reason the line is only by 11. However, with the Penn State defense and playing at Happy Valley, I could see a line as low as a 14 or 17 point spread. But the final say is, Penn State will lose, and despite some of the predicted scores, I think 1TD is about the best they could do, with maybe a field goal added to that. Their offense reeks.

purdue scores early w/ the assistance of a great punt return, 7-0. they get a field goal before half time making the score 10-0 half way home. psu scores their first drive of the second half, 10-7. purdue gets a field goal, 13-7. psu turns the ball over which leads to another purdue td, 20-7. psu gets a late td, 20-14. this is the final score. no money from my pockets will be on purdue to cover.

leave it to me to break your trend coach... it will be a chilly day down below when i bet against our lions

psu has a decent defense when derek wake plays and a very strong defense when dan conner is on the field in wake's stead (wake is that bad and conner is that good). kyle orton will throw his first pick of the year early when he tries to force a ball to alan zemaitis's side of the field. in the end, psu's inability to stop purdue on big third down's and a few turnovers by the offense will cost the lions another loss. i wouldn't be totally shocked though if the lions could sneak away w/ a close win this weekend 'fore purdue is riding a little too high on their horse right now.

I am going out on a limb here to say that Penn State will pull the upset on Saturday.
