Tragedy in the County--Wade Grimes killed....PLEASE READ

The past week has been the hardest week of my entire life i still dont want to believe that my best friend is gone im gonna miss him alot

missy- im here for you always and you know that whenever you need me ill be there i promise

nat- ive never told you this but i really look up to you and thank you for talking to me those nights at the firehall

I too have lost a brother and friends and family members. It is never easy when you lose someone you love so much. And sometimes you never know how important someone is or how much they influenced your life or others lives until you lose them. But I have to tell you words of encouragement like this site has given help not only people who don't know the person very well..to the people that saw him every day. It seems to me that God has taken a lot of amazing, talented, athletic teens! And even though half the time we don't understand why, we just have to believe that its for the better. I personally have been affected by losing friends (or teens that I knew) December 30th 2003 Stanna Leigh Walters (16 years old from Mount Union High School) was killed in a car wreck. I can't tell you how many times I think about her and her short life her on Earth. March 5th 2004 Chris Nanna and Angie Stayer (from Juniata High School) were killed in a car wreck coming home from the wrestling states in Hershey. My cousin was in the car with them, and every night I pray and thank God that she's still here. And now Wade has died. I only knew him because I was a part of wrestling. But even though I didn't know him personally, I can tell he was a special person in so many lives. I think our county has been tramically changed because of these 4 young people. I can only wait until the say til we all see them again.

Rip Stanna, Chris, Angie, and Wade. You guys are sadly missed by everyone!

I never knew Wade personally, I think I might have talked to him once or twice at a wrestling match. I cheer for Tussey. I had always heard so many good things about him. I work with his gram Becky. She was always telling us what awards he won or what trophys he had received for the sports he was in. For the few times I talked to him, he was a cool guy. I can't even imagine how his friends, family, and Missy must feel. Just be strong. He was watching down on everyone..

Missy...hey hun its Brooke.....I just want you to know that I am here for you ALWAYS hun. It hurts and I know it does sweetheart....hang on to all those memories, and remember you'll see him soon enough, he'll be there to greet you at the Gates. If you ever need anything, PLEASE come see me, call me, do whatever to get a hold of me.....I SWEAR to you, I will ALWAYS come when I hear your cry. You're in my thoughts and prayers, along with Sim, Darlene, and Levi, and the rest of Wade's family. You uys are all an awesome bunch of people, stay as close as you are.....you really need each other. Wade truly was Superman, and God truly blessed you guys with a terrific son, grandson, nephew, BOYFRIEND (MISSY), best friend, or even just a friend. You could always count on Wade to brighten your day....no matter how bad your day was, Wade was ALWAYS there to bring a smile to your face. He will NEVER be forgotten. And to the Class of 2004, you are all an awesome class....we really pulled together.....and I thank God for friends like all of you.....and thank God for pulling us together......God Bless........I LOVE YOU MISSY

wade was my biggest role model i ever had and he was a hero in my eyes when i watched him play sports and one day i walked in the wrestling room and i said something to him and he said i was his hero and for someone that awsome and powerful to say something like that to me it ment alot wade would always protected me from people who were mean to me and he would always watch me wrestle and he would tell me stuff like i was the best 7th grade wrestler he ever saw and that was awsome and i just seen him over the weekend before he died and i cant believe it and wade was like superman to me he could do anything and i cant believe what happened i just cant wait for the day when ill see him again
