normally i wouldn't make fun of this but lion line used ` instead of '. Looks like a regular typo but if you look at your keyboard the buttons are on opposite ends and ` isn't even taught in typing classes. It's in the clear top left corner by the escape key. Which means he went looking for an apostrophe and found that...haha

you guys keep arguing about humility and blah blah blah. why are you all so angry if if you want to be angry at someone for what they are posting then be angry at me for saying that neither bedford or chestnut ridge will do anything signifigant in the playoffs. and by signifigant i mean advance far enough to face a wpial team let alone defeat a wpial team, so for bedford it's back to the same old routine win a bunch of regular season games only to do absolutely nothing.grrr i'm steaming mad!

i hope bedford county becomes a hotbed of football talent maybe this is the year that glass ceiling is shattered, great traditions have to start somewhere.(this is my highly optimistic take) but since i have lived in bedford county (8 years) i have never seen a d-5 team beat a wpial team in football playoffs.

Number 1, why are we discussing the WPIAL right now? There are still 3 weeks of highly important games remaining before the district playoffs even begin. The D5/6 champ won't face the WPIAL Champ for 7 more weeks.

Number 2 (since I was asked), I will respond about Chestnut Ridge.

Honestly, I think they're pretty good. The Lions take a beating from people on here because of their conference, but this CR team is not like the teams of the past. Ridge was good enough to beat P-O last year in the first round and I believe P-O was better last year than this. On top of this, I feel CR is better now than they were one year ago. Chestnut Ridge will make the playoffs and I honestly think they could win out and possibly enter as the #1 seed. I definitely see some shifting in the upper tier of the playoff standings, but I'll keep my predictions under wraps for a few more days.

I don't believe the Lions will be able to dethrone any of the LHAC entrants, but they can certainly challenge a few of them. I also believe that CR can beat PL and P-O. The best scenario for Ridge at this point is to concentrate on Bellwood-Antis. If the Lions get things done in the regular season, they will be rewarded come playoff time.
