i totally agree STP. not sure who to blame for that. partly mills. partly the play calling. partly the recievers for not gettin to the first down stripe or out of bounds. what was even worse was the drive directly before that one when they got the ball on the 35 going in thanx to an excellent return by rodney kinlaw. 4 and out w/o getting any yards is just not good in that situation. they really missed michael robinson at the end of the game.

I think all too often people blame Mills. You had to have seen some of the throws he made while getting hit. He threw perfect deep balls to Golden and Phillips and took hits each time. I'm there watching on the sideline seeing him get hit time after time and just sit there not knowing how he keeps getting up. He already has a bum right shoulder and after he took that big hit when a defender came untouched off the corner, I thought it was over. Even the Purdue defense thought he was done. Nobody should even try to blame him. Look to the playcalling that has pass routes going across the middle with little time left. Plus amazingly since PSU seemed to hold on almost every running play, Purdue could just tee off on the pass. I'm not even mentioning the little separation the wrs get.

I've been a big Galen Hall fan all my life, but IMO his playcalling has been less than inspired this year. Even those idiots who were doing the game on TV realized those slower-developing running plays wouldn't work against Purdue's speed.

Plus the PSU coaching sideline still looks like a Chinese fire drill.

You know, I wish BC had been around during those years when all West Virginia was good for was a place to go get beer.

I know you would never stoop to do this, H, but could you actually make some constructive comments on how Penn State could right its ship, outside of shooting Joe? Purely from a football knowledge base. Just a quick analysis. I would assume that there are people that you might know and call friends who are PSU fans and are upset with the present state of affairs.

Galen Hall has the title of OC but if you think he is calling the plays your mistaken this is the same offense that Todd Blackledge ran in 85 nothing ever changes run right run left and up the middle, if they would throw 30 times a game its either cuz they are losing or JOEPA isnt the head coach anymore!
