Geez, with good reason. But still, you have to admit, while it wasn't the most horrible reffed game ever, it was still kinda bad, state cop or not.

I didn't say the quality of the game was not up to par...but I was just stating that speaking to a ref like that is not very good for the reputation of the fans. Also once the game is over that could be considered harassment.

I thought the reffing at the HY/EV game was better than it had been when I was in HS. I recall games where everytime someone fell down, the whistle was blown and a free kick awarded. This reffing was much better. Also, I had to laugh at the ignorance of some of the fans (on both sides). The Hyndman fans were getting pretty huffy about the refs not calling offsides when the Everett forward was on his own side of the field. I can't remember the specifics of what the Everett fans yelled, but they are guilty of it too.

I think there should be a rule that if you never played or don't know the rules when you cheer for your team you just stick to "Go [insert team or player name here]". Its worked for my mom and she's been doing it for about 20 years now.

i remember being a lil tyke and goin down to the hyndman homecoming game vs. bedford...one of the bedford players' dad was a state cop and he got himself (along with some other fans) removed from the game by the refs almost every year...o the good ol' days

Now Everett has the pleasure of being the annual opponent for the Hyndman homecoming and that is when the Hyndman fans (who are energetic to start with) are at their rowdiest. But hey, who doesn't get hyped up when pigs and goats are being raffled off?

people like you are funny at first, but after a whle become annoying...just my opinion

i know one thing i always hated was my teams fans always yelling for me to shoot it whenever we got a free kick...didnt matter if it was from midfield or a goal kick, granted i was capable of shooting from midfield and scoring, but every single time they would yell for me to shoot...it got annoying after awhile

When i played sunday select. for those of you who might have known of the team, we called ourselves the gunners. Laural Highlands. We played some very good teams, but we were also a very very good team. I can remember playing one team who were total jerks. They came into some weaker teams nice stadium, and tore up their track, broke hurdles after beating them like 8-0 or something like that..Our coach told us, normally If we were up on a team we had to pass at least 3 times before shooting just so we didnt run the score up. etc...But he said beat them hard, make them cry. I think that if you play dirty, and just plain mean, word gets out, and it makes other teams hate you worse. The drive to beat them gets better.
