He has great balance and quicks. Fine athlete.

I would question his mental toughness and focus. Particular in dealing with adversity and leadership skills. Has someone worked with him to develop this aspect of his game?

My opinion of Freddy is that if someone with the knowledge of how to develop talent would take him under their wing he could go places. Either in football or baseball. Plus he is a super guy.

Freddy plays with a lot of heart, but if they are down, and under a lot of pressure, I'm not sure what would happen. I think he would try to make something out of nothing on most plays and end up losing yardage, or gaining a ton....you never know. Good luck to Ridge!

i think Fred is only as good as his opponents...
according to yesterdays Gazette, Fred averaged 7.8 yards per carry, against bellwood he ran 13 times for a whopping 55 yards an average of 4.2 yards per carry. 7.8...4.2...amazing what a "great" back can do against real competition aint it?

Gunner, did u just say that bellwood is "real" competition....... They are in the dreaded ICC...... and we all know how u stand with the competition in the ICC...... If i remember correctly u mentioned that there is NO good teams in the ICC..... but then again what do i know..... but bellwood is a good team and it would be hard for a RB to make serious yards when some players in ur O line are injured and others are just losing their cool around the end of the game...... overall fred is a good RB that has the potential to do well if he has the rest of the team playing well also......
