New England Patriots finish undefeated season
With the level of football that the New England Patriots are currently playing, do you think it is possible for them to finish an undefeated season? They do have some major tests in the next couple weeks, being the Jets and then the Steelers. Can they do it? I'm going to say that they can go 16-0 for the first time ever in the regular season, and perhaps go 19-0 (Super Bowl winners).

i don't think they'll make it, they're bound to have an off game, and didn't the dolphins have a 17-0 season?

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Yep, the 72 Dolphins went 14-0 in the regular season, and went on to win the Super Bowl in their undefeated streak to go 17-0.
Interestingly enough, the 2004 Dolphins might be the first team to go 0-16 at this rate. Nobody has done it though (though the 01 Lions went to 0-12 before beating Green Bay on Thanksgiving). They might have the honor/dishonor of being the only undefeated team to finish a winless season as well.

They'll be undefeated. 15-0-1. They'll tie the Steelers 10-10.

Haha that's very wishful thinking Ham. That won't happen. But it's fiction. They will lose a game this season. Guaranteed it won't be to the Steelers, though.

Actually, there is an 'expert' columnist who writes on the NFL who thinks the Pats will lose to the Steelers. I doubt it, as this is the most clutch team that I have seen. No matter what's going on, they always respond to put points up on the board, and their defense is always able to help out when their offense can't put points up.

Steelers offense also has that ability to put up points when in a bad postition. Now their defense isn't as reliable, but they have been known to make some game changing plays. This will definitly be an awesome game to watch.

I would say the Jets have a much better chance of beating the Patriots than the Steelers. The Jets have the edge over the Steelers at QB and RB. Also, the Jets have a better defense. The Steelers have better WRs. So, I think if anyone is beating the Pats anytime soon, the Jets have the best shot.
