Re: panthers @ ridge
Is this one of the best Offenses or defenses Ridge has ever had? Is this the best team ever Ridge has ever had? Would be interested in hearing from the Ridge folks on this one. This team will present problems for any team including the teams of the LHAC. I did not say beat them but Ridge can play with the big boys of the LHAC and again I did not say beat them but can darn well compete. And bedford fans no offfense but do not come in here and tell me my statement is crap beacuse it is just my opinion.

saying best of all time...doubtful, one of the best most certainly!
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Yeah I agree count. This is definitly one of Ridges better years, probably not the best ever, but they're doing well for the most part. I can also see Ridge playing these tough LHAC teams with a lot of intensity and giving them a run for their money. I hope to see a Ridge-Bedford match up in the playoffs. I can't say who will win, but it will be a good game either way, give the Ridge football team what they want....a shot at Bedford.

yeah i really hope to see a Ridge/Bedford game in the playoffs... i think it would be a really good game... i know for a fact that Bedford has some fast runners... (the Harris brothers and John Marshall for ex.)... but Ridge has some good players also... (Freddie and Barefoot for ex.)... and most def. it would be a great match up... and yes players and fans would love to play Bedford again...

Foghorn,
In this case there wasnt any intention of cynicism(spelling) in my comments regarding Freddy.
I have observed him on the football and baseball field many times. He is a very fluid, well balanced, smart athlete. Mentally he could be extremely hard on himself which would create challenges for himself.
With the right support and influence he could really go far.
Does he have it now? Not for me to judge.

Re: panthers @ ridge
Last week I was not that impressed with CR offense. They had two big plays that they scored on the 51 yd pass and a 55 yd run. Two times that the BA deffense faultered and they could do nothing in the 2nd half. Otherwise they did not move the ball well at all for a team that passed and ran for impressive numbers in their previous six games. CR deffense held the outside run in check but the middle is a weakness both run and pass. As for NB I have not seem them play but for what the deffense has done against other powerful offensive teams like JV and holding them mostly in check I will say this will go to CR by 6 only because of home field and the taste in their mouths that someone wee wee in their wheaties last week.

almost time to tee it up!!Go Panthers!!
Re: panthers @ ridge
Ridge 14-0 over the Panthers. NBC had the ball at the Ridge 7 yd line and had a pass just barely go through a receivers hands that would of made score 7-7 headed into the 4th quarter. This NBC team can be proud that they played a solid game against a very tough Ridge team. I no I am proud of these young men.

no doubt that NBC played hard but messy field conditions went into the turnout also, better field conditions i'm not quite sure who would have won.
