Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Post by deliverance »

Who's going to be the next World Series Champions? I think the Red Sox just keep on winning and pull this one out. It should definitely be a good series.

This should be a great series... the number one offense from the NL vs the number one offense from the AL.. should be lots and lots of runs scored. These two teams are pretty evenly matched in all aspects. With that being said I think it's gonna go 7 games and end with a walkoff HR sending the Fenway faithful into a frenzy that's never been seen before.

I hope you guys are right - I want the Sox to win too. But I think they just finished their world series and won't show up against the Cardinals like they did against the Yankees. I hope I'm wrong though.

I'm going with the Cardinals on this one......They seem to have a good team and they should beat the Red Sox, now if they were playing the Yankees....it would be a different story, but I'm going with the Cards in 6 games...look for high scoring, close games....1918

Boston heads into St. Louis up 2-0, and two wins away from the world series title. That would be the first time they won the World Series since 1918. It looks like maybe the Sox fans left enough for Babe Ruth to quench his anger.

The curse will be over soon. I don't see the Cardinals coming back from this 2-0 deficit. Boston has looked very tough so far in this series.

Boston won't sweep, but I think they can break the curse as long as their bull pen keeps producing. I like to see close, highscoring games and these are the teams to watch.

I don't see the Cards coming back from a 2-0 deficit, but I also thought that the ALCS was over as soon as the Yanks took a 3-0 lead. Who would have thought the Bo Sox would pull off the greatest comeback in baseball history? But can they hang on to their lead in the World Series?
