Silly is in the eye of the beholder. Others might consider a list about Kerry's record on guns silly because they believe those bills will never see his desk if he's president. Others believe it's a vital issue.
I would think that most people in this area would consider Kerry's record on guns a vital issue. Especially when you look at the smoke screen he's trying to put up now. It tells you a lot about his character, where he's going to stand on issues, and if he's fake or not. I think going to a rally in West Virginia and holding up an 11-87 semi-automatic shotgun, going to a rally in Michigan (or wherever up there) and talking about stalking deer on his stomach goes to prove that he's only saying what people want to hear, not how he actually feels. He's a fake. The bigger issue here is that he believes like Clinton does - that the 2nd Amendment states that the right to bear arms is for state militias. President Bush believes the 2nd Amendment is an individual right, and that my friend is vital to a lot of us.

The only thing that interests me about the list and I thought might interest others is that it shows some of the key people in the Bush administration, arguably some of the most powerful people in the world, made determined efforts not to serve in the armed forces. They found legitimate ways out, just like millions of guys did -- but now they control the greatest military machine in the history of the world. Now they are quick to not only rattle America's sabers but also pull them out for some dubious reasons.

foggy: Its sad to see you were one of the "duped" people in the "Rathergate" scandal. Bush served in the guard and recieved an honorable discharge. Did Kerry receive one? I don't think so and why hasn't he made his war records public? The pinkos were sure screaming for Bush to do so but not for their guy. I just wonder what Kerry is trying to hide?

Powell and Rumsfeld both served along with Bush and Cheney already presided over a war. Should be good enough for you. A lot better than Sandy "I stuffed those documents in my pants by mistake" Berger!
