Central was down 26-7 at halftime last night and came back to win 29-26 scoring in the final minute. They went up 27-26 and then Jon Hodgkins sacked the Richland QB for a safety to set the final tally. I wish I would have gone to the game it sounded like it was a very entertaining game. I was shocked to see that Richland's quarterback is only a freshman!

Anyway congrats to CHS getting to #2. I had them pegged for 4, but they didn't get it done vs Heights and Somerset was better than I thought they'd be. Hopefully they get #3 next Saturday at Mansion when they play BG.

They beat another bad 1-7 team and they didn't give up 50+ points this game. They didn't beat the New England Patriots did they?? A WIN is a WIN though!

As I've said before...they CAN be a consistent middle of the road LHAC team. They can win 4 or 5 every year in that league. They play all kinds of youngsters so don't be shocked to see them turn it around a little more next year too. The JH finished 6-2, so hopefully things are back on the up and up at CHS. I think they can consistently beat the Richlands, Camrbia Heights, Penn Cambrias, Somersets, and one more here or there if they get things going on the right track again.

I don't believe it til I see it! They looked bad against Bedford because I was at that game and do all kind of tricky plays and not really play fundamental football. Oh well that is the coaches problems! They are like PSU and need to get out of a league that they can never and will never win!

Actually, I don't even see them beating Pittsburgh, as bad as WVU is playing lately.
