Tough opening draw for the Bisons. A huge advantage to be playing in Bedford as opposed to traveling up the mountain to Ebensburg.

The health condition of the Krull (??..Spelling) will be significant. CC seemed to rely on him early on until an injury removed him from the game.

The Bisons are on a roll and will be tough to defeat at home. I take the Bisons...28-12.

I believe Krull is out for the entirety. He has a broken ankle from what i heard, and those dont heal all that well...

With the Krull kid out of the picture, Bedford can gang up on Mesaros. Look for the Bisons to rely on their speed in the secondary and send one or two backers consistently to pressure the CC QB. With Krull out, I readjust my previous score. He was probably even more effective on the defensive side of the ball.

Bedford has too much speed for CC and i think that if CC's D# steps it up like last time they will keep it close but Bedford will end up VICTORIOUS!!!

I say CC shows up to play, looking for a repeat of last years opening round of the playoffs but it can't be done. Stays close for first half but bedford wins by a score of 37-20. They advance to the second round.

The Bisons may be somewhat apprehensive of their first-round match-up; however, I believe this is the match-up Swaim and Company wanted. Bedford hasn't forgotten about last years dominance by CC in the playoffs, and this thought is going to motivate the Bisons. Bedford gets their revenge and takes control of the game early and often. Swaim and Company become one game closer to the District final with a 32-12 victory.

Krull played only one quarter the first time these two met, as he was injured at the start of the 2nd quarter. Without him, the Devils nearly beat the Bisons. On the other hand, Krull was responsible for a TD, as well as some stellar defensive play before the injury.

I agree with Ham that Bedford is 20 times better now than they were the first time around. I also believe CC has adapted without Krull and become a force with the passing game. That "force" was severly limited last week by the Trojans and I'm sure Bedford will try and apply the same type of pressure to Mesaros in trying to get the same results in Round 1.

Also, I said this 4 weeks ago and I'll say it again - Krull's ankle was never broken.

Finally, I see some lofty predictions here in Bedford's favor. Are you guys so sure Swaim and Co. wanted this match-up? I don't know, just think it would be a nicer draw to host Purchase Line than CC in Round 1.

Oh, it would have definately been nice to play Purchase Line, but now the Bisons will definately come ready to play. It's now time for CC to live up to all of the hype they've been getting and for them to beat a good team; this would be as good a week as any to do that. I just don't see that happening, though.
