That is a tough one...I think that Joel Mattson from Bedford is the best defender around PA that I have seen...he is good in 1v1 defending and is a good defensive reader...he knows what is going on around him and hardly ever misses a challenge.

Pete Bridges burnt Ian all night on Thursday. I thought he was a well played player the 1st time we met though...both the kids are Division I caliber...Pete just got the edge in the battle on Thursday night. So that is why i said that Joel Mattson is the best defender around.

Joel is well aware of whats going on around him, but honestly, I think joe brady easily takes best defender. I RARELY see taht kid make a tackle where he doesnt legally crush the other kid and get the ball, and i can awlays count on him to win it. While joel is typically the same, joe also has the footskills with the ball, and constantly burns people to get an easy pass to an open player.

joel is not the best defender in the district, let alone state, 10, you need to shutup before you make yourself and your teammates look like a bunch of fools
