I am pleasantly surprised with how the Steelers have performed so far. I was a big Maddox fan, but I don't believe he has them sitting at 6-1 if he doesn't get hurt. The door has shut on Maddox, and opened a big door for Big Ben.

The Steelers playing the Eagles in the Super Bowl since the both seem to choke in their respective conference championship games.

21% inflation, gas shortages, sky high unemployment, sissified foreign policy, 15% interest rates. Who am I thinking of? Can anyone guess?

The Eagles now have the NFL's longest winning streak, and when the Steelers beat them next week, who will have it? Thats right, the boys from the burgh...

Re: 21 and done
The Patriots won all of those games for two reasons:
1) They Didnt make mistakes
2) When you did, they capitalized
Exactly what the Steelers did to them today. A phenomial performance on both sides of the ball for the Steelers, with the D forcing 4 turnovers and scoring a touchdown, Staley rushing for over 100, and The Ben To Burress connection shining like 10000 diamonds

shorty, not that anyone will have a clue as to what im talking about, but another streak ended this year...last weekend actually...
in the English Premier League (soccer), Arsenal (team from north London) was on a 49 game unbeaten streak in the leage that dated back to May 4, 2003. this streak came to an end at Old Trafford against Manchester United to the tune of 2-0.
and another streak i think will end is the redskin's picking the president...currently the DC football team is 16 for 16 in presidential elections, every time they won their last home game before the election the incumbant won, every time they lost, the incumbant lost...so hopefully that streak too will end.
and finally, i believe Strath Haven lost its first regular season game in over 70 outings this year i believe (or am i having dejavu from last season? )

How can you root against a team called "Arsenal"?
