The players are bad? Better take a look at the recruiting classes, where PSU still dominates all the other schools surrounding them, including the Mountaineers. Now, maybe they are not being fully developed, but that's a different story. Regardless, it's the fault of the coaching.

Just keep losing and the recruits will come I am sure of that. They like being coached by a 90 year old. I am getting fired up right now just hearing him give the pregame speech. heck they probably just tape it and wheel in a statue before the game in crappy valley! Letssss Gooooo Mountaineers!!

How many people are saying that the program is going in the right direction? I'm a PSU fan, but I'm not idiotic enough to miss the big picture. It's a sinking ship, and the only thing that is going to save it is a coaching change, from someone OUTSIDE that atrocious program. I don't defend Paterno. As of now though, the only problem is the on-field product. They still get recruits, and sell out that enormous stadium. I know that it won't last forever. I just hope it holds out till he gets the hell out of there.

The difference between PSU and WVU is this:

Penn State is, as TAE said "A sinking ship". I've been a Penn State fan since birth, and am now immune to the fact that they will lose 8 or more games a season. No one expects them to perform, and they do nothing less than meet everyone's expectations

WVU on the other hand was touted as THE REASON the Big East should have an automatic bowl bid, and what happens? They lose to Vtech, a team that has no chance to win their conference, but is still good enough to hand the mounties a loss. Now, WVU starts winning again and Lee Corso and everyone else starts saying how impressive they are, forgetting that Tyler Palko is weeks away from lighting them up for a few hundered yards coupled with touchdowns and broken dreams for the West Virginia Nation.

Nothing personal against you, Hollywood, but if there's one thing i HATE its overrated teams getting undeserved hype from the media (See Also: The Oklahoma Sooners).

I can't wait until OU goes undefeated and then that very, very week pass defense goes up against a very high-powered USC passing attack. OU has no answers for USC on either side of the ball, at any position. Leinart is better than Jason White, and has been for 2 years, Reggie Bush is twice the athlete of Adrian Peterson (even though Peterson is good), the receivers are way better, and the defense is WAY better. Where's this year's national championship game being played? Blowout City? Because that's what it's gonna feel like for Bob Stoops and 11 million people who never watch college football and just go by what esteemed analysts like Craig James have to say. All's I can say is, if you are ordering food on the night of the BCS Championship, call it in early and have your food there by mid-way through the 1st quarter. Because if you wait anytime after that, you're gonna wanna just go home because the whole night was a disappointment.

There are so many people saying that OU is the greatest thing since sliced bread, imagine how deep the lake of tears is going to be when they run into USC. USC is above and beyond OU in every level of their game. Yet another season where Georgia and OU are being hyped as the best teams ever and it's a total bust.

Hollywood you just buried all credibility you have about being realistic when talking about college football. I commend you for playing, but I assure you there are 116 teams besides the one in Morgantown. If you're not going to look at the big picture and be objective, why even bother? I know you are pro-WVU and that's fine, but be sensible.
