Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

There aren't many good fields in the D5 area. I've never played on Bedford's field, nor on any of the school's fields that have only guys' teams. However, I must say that the field that I liked to play on the most was Meyersdale's. It always had nice grass and wasn't too long or narrow. I hated playing at Rockwood because the field is so short and always is rock hard. My old home field was also pretty bad, with the little individual plots of grass, though I hear this year that its pretty descent. The teams didn't play on it much since the majority of their home games were on the football field. I also didn't like the North Star field at Kanter (or however you spell that). I don't know why, but I hated that field. Also, I didn't like Ridge's field by the middle school. When it was really windy, all that dust would just fly in your face and you couldn't see well.
