They lose money is I think the problem with the playoff system if they don't have enough teams or games. They should still have the bowl games for everyone that is eligible to play in them and have the BCS as a playoff!!

Don't you think playoffs would be hard on the players...the quality of football would have to go down...Basketball and Baseball are not at all as physical as football is...I think it is a good idea and it is probably the best way to determine the best team but it seems somewhat unrealistic...also I don't think Wisc will go to the championship game if they go undefeated either...the best game for the title would be USC vs. Auburn even if Auburn doesn't go undefeated

Dissolve the WAC and MAC and C-USA and Mt West and Big East, stick those teams in other conferences or else create new conferences, and play an 8 to 10 team playoff.
