This is a great game to watch. There are a lot of athletes that can take it to the house at any time!! Wow. Have to agree they make a lot of mistakes on Defense!

Louisville...next year's Big East champs...I'm not trying to start anything either...I just think they are a VERY talented team and their QB will be the best in the conference.

They better play better D than that if they are going to win the Big East, I will tell you that!! Still have to contend with the EERS and that is no gimmie!! Can't wait til they come to Mountaineer Field!

Hopefully they're coach will still be there. People are talking about Petrino as getting that UF job, which is a bad decision because of Petrino's track record. He's a bad decision for ANY team. This guy is the shadiest character in college football. Last year he was the one involved in that mid-season Auburn fiasco where Auburn officials met him at some backwoods airport to discuss getting the head coaching job. Then Petrino went back to Louisville and convinced his team he made a mistake, promised them he was never going to leave and was committed to winning a national title at Louisville. Today, Jill Arrington asked him about the Florida job, and all he said was "Right now we're only worried about Memphis". Isn't this what most coaches say when they are entertaining the idea of a better job? Why not kill the rumors right then and there like Stoops did? Shaaaaady.

LV wins 56-49. Reminded me of an old-time AFL game (That dates me!) Great ESPN choice, though.

Petrino's talented but does seem shady, as Enemy noted, especially after that low-class Auburn stuff last year. Still, Petrino sounds a lot like another name. (Maybe Jay could get a head job at Albright or somewhere.) I'll take some of that offensive energy at any time.

By the way, I heard Jay was going to steal Hall's elevator key and tell him Sat.'s game started at 4. And he wasn't gonna be invited over for lasagna at Joe's afterwards either.

Louisville may win the Big East next year, but giving up 41 to Miami (FL) and 49 to Memphis isn't great defense either. I'm just the opposite though. I like to watch a good defensive game with a final score of something like 13-10 or 7-3. Offense wins games, defense wins championships.

They'll have to beat out Pitt to be Big East Champs, too. Palko is going to be even tougher next year. They have a lot of people returning. So, I wouldn't give it to Louisville or WVU just quite yet for next year.

actually, joe's dinner table is full. he is having jackie sherril and his wife over after the game. there was an article about it in the post gazette some time this week.

not sure if they are having lazanga or not.
