How come nobody on here is saying what a showboat Hines Ward is for mocking TO?? That is ok though because he is a Steeler and a good person. Give me a break. I love it though. It is all part of the NFL game!

It's been a while since I've seen an undefeated professional team so physically manhandled. Well, at least since last week...How about some of those signs in the crowd; "TO still has BO" and "TO ripped my other sign". How about TO jawboning to McNabb? How about Hines doing the Bird Dance. Hines has never been a showboat like TO. He just knew that the Steeler fans would love him mocking the "best receiver in the nfl". And we did!

We'll see. We'll see. Talk to me come playoff time. The Vikings will more than likely lose tonight without Moss. But, come back to me on this come playoff time. I'll be laughing pretty hard at a first round knock out of the Steelers. I'm thinking two area teams that were really bragged up on here had pretty good seasons and got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Now, you dont like to eat your words huh.

I've eaten them less than you have there deliverance. I was wrong about Bedford ONCE, that's more than you can say about yourself. The Steelers won't lose the first week because they will be sitting at home waiting to see who they will disassemble in week 18...

We will see about that. The Ravens are only 2 games back as of right now. They still have to win the division first. I recall them losing to the Ravens earlier in the season.

Yea, and I remember Minnesota losing to NY Giants. Who got killed by DA Bears. Two games, wow, if they lose to the Ravens again, at home, which is highly unlikely, they still won't relinquish the lead...

What does Minnesota losing to the Giants have anything to do with the Steelers winning the division. That's right nothing. Also, arent the Vikings ahead of DA bears in the division, Yes, that's right they are.

and you know what, they lost to a team who was imbarrased by possibly one of the worst teams in the NFL. What does the Steelers of week 2 have to do with the Steelers of week 9, absolutely nothing. You have said they will flop from week 3 on, and I'm guessing your just laying in wait for one bobble then going to jump down everybodies throat about how you were right all along and the Steelers are terrible. I'm guessing only a SuperBowl will shut you up, and even then I'm sure you will say something to attempt to take away from what they have done then...

Back up. It's week 9 of the regular season, and it's still too early to tell what is going to happen. The Steelers are sitting pretty at 7-1 right now, and will likely advance far into the playoffs IF THEY KEEP UP THIS LEVEL OF PLAY. That part is in all capitals because it is the key. I seem to recall a 6-0 Vikings team that didn't even make the playoffs last year, finish the season at 9-7 after a humiliating loss to the Cardinals. And I remember that that same Vikings team came out and crushed the Packers in week 1, but that later that season, the Packers came out and crushed that Vikings team and made the playoffs. I also remember a Kansas City Chiefs team that went 9-0, then got knocked off the first game that they played in the playoffs after a 13-3 season and a first round bye. And a Steelers team three years ago that finished 13-3 and lost to an underrated Patriots team that went into the Super Bowl two td underdogs to the Rams and won. What's my point? My point is that anything can happen in the NFL between now and the Super Bowl, and it's too early to be betting the house on anything yet.
The likely Super Bowl contenders are Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, but I think at the beginning of the season it was New England and Philadelphia, with the Seahawks as a dark horse. And also, the Giants were projected as a 4-12 team at the beginning of the season, and the Steelers were projected at 7-9. Anything can happen in the next 8 weeks. No team is totally mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet, though Miami will be with one more loss and a New England win next week.

All good points, but deliverance seems to think that Pittsburgh is no good, no matter what anybody else says... I know that anything can happen, the Patriots won the SuperBowl 2 out of the last 3 years and they weren't even the best team in the NFL in those years. The years between the SuperBowls, they didn't even make the playoffs..
