PSU beats indiana on a goaline stand
i never thought i would be so happy w/ a 6pt psu win over indiana. defense bent about as much as they could w/o losing the game. mills had a decent game. the wide outs played ok. the line was still not very good. morelli got in and kinda showed that joepa was right saying that he wasnt ready. he definately has a big time arm tho. all in all, a good building block type win.

Two VERY bad teams playing VERY bad football.
I had to choose between turning the channel or puking in front of my TV.
Look on the bright side Nitters: PSU beat last year's win total!!!
3-8 or 4-7 isn't too bad...IT'S PROGRESS, right guys???

Yeah, it is progress. 2-9 to 3-8 is a one game progression. That's terrible, of course, but it's still progress.
Just think, Titan, nobody that beat Penn State gave up 34 in a loss to Temple. But that's okay, because Syracuse is still one of the top dogs in a conference with a BCS bid. Please God let Pitt win that conference.

thats right WT, get your shots in now. this could be the win that sparks the program. winning a close game on the road can do a lot for a team lacking confidence.
speaking of coming around, how'd wvu do today hollywood? i think i remember saying BC was gonna be a challenge for the eers.

I'm glad BC won, because if nothing else, it shuts up Hollywood a little while. Also, if Pitt beats WVU, and BC loses one of its remaining two games (one against Syracuse), then Pitt would get the BCS bid, since it beat the other two teams tied with it head to head.

Dear God, if we need a win over Indiana to turn the program around, we're even worse than I thought.

If a close road win against Indiana turns this program around, I'd be very very surprised. Yes, it's nice you have hope. But at some point you have to realize, there's not much hope for this team. Also, it's not looking good for the next few years at this point.
