Pennsylvania Teams doing good?

Post by Ty »

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are both doing great in the NFL but the question rises, who will go farther in the playoffs?

pittsburgh has a better team, but the eagles play in the weak nfc, so philadelphia can advance without as stern a test the steelers will get, but pittsburgh will win the super bowl!!! one for the thumb!!!

This could be interesting but I think the Eagles because they have an easier road with the NFC not being as tough as the AFC. I would love to see a PA Super Bowl!! That would be great!

I think that right now, they can both advance to the Super Bowl. But Pittsburgh would win it right now, at least those are my thoughts. So I guess Pittsburgh would go farther, lol. I guess the question is who will be more successful in the playoffs. However, with the NFC being weak, Philadelphia shouldn't face any real stern tests until the NFC title game at least, where right now, I think Atlanta would have the best chance of advancing to there.

And we all know the outcome of that game... Philly chokes for 4 years in a row... This time they get caught up on a falcon feather...

I think Terrell Owens is the missing link that will get the Eagle over their NFC title game hump and into the Super Bowl.

i agree that the falcons are gonna come outta the nfc. they are gonna get the first round bye and play somebody like st louis or green bay in the second round. the pack playing on turf in the playoffs usually means a victory for the home team. then in the championship game, i feel michael vick takes over. if i had to win one game and could chose any player in the league, i would take vick first b/c he does it all and cannot be stopped no matter what players there are around him. however, i think everybody who frequents this board is rooting to see the pennsylvania super bowl.

Very true austin, Michael Vick finds a way to get it done and is a superior player. The iggles and the falcons will be a good game, I can't really predict the outcome, but it will be the battle of the quarterbacks. I do kinda want to see a PA superbowl, but if the falcons get in over the iggles, it'll still be a good game to watch.

A Pa superbowl would rock! Pitt would definately win, though. The Eagles aren't going through a very hard season so they havent been really tested yet. Pitt beat the undefeated Patriots. That was a game. The Steelers would take the Eagles, no sweat.

I don't know. Andy Reid has his ways. But the first thing the Eagles need to do to beat the Steelers is get a defense. Giving up 21 points to the Cowboys isn't helping anything.
