In District 5A, Berlin came away victorious with a hard fought 27-19 win over the Panthers. NB scored first and led 7-0. However, they failed to capitalize on several Berlin mistakes and went into the half ahead 7-6. In the second half, Berlin came ready to play. Several key passes to #1 McCormick(sp?) helped the Mountaineers pull away from the Panthers and claim the D5 title.

I think that Rochester/Clairton will win by 21 or more!! Berlin can't throw that well and they will not get the mismatch they had against NB with that #1 WR!! I hope Berlin plays well but the WPIAL is a tall of a task for any D5 team!!
