Steelers=Superbowl

Post by flyer010 »

I thinks after Steelers got Rothensburger as their new quarterback they have been doing awesome. They are number 1 in the NFL. I think they will go all the way and even win the Superbowl

Do we not have enough topics about the Steelers and them winning the Super Bowl?

The best thing is that we are 9 games into the season and people are talking about them having the "Steel Curtain" defense again. How about we wait to see if this lasts for 2-3 years before we compare them to possibly the greatest team in NFL history.

That would make too much sense TAE. I think the Steelers have proved a lot so far this season. Yet, a lot can happen in their next 7 games and in the playoffs. Let's not get too carried away just yet.

7 games, wow where did the extra regular season game come from. I never said the Steel Curtain is back, to say so would be crazy, no Steeler team will ever daun that name nor should they. That team in the 70's was an absolute dynasty and nothing will ever come close to that again... They are playing excellent defense, and playing productive offense, and they are on an 8 game winning streak, you can't argue with the success. With Staley coming back this week, hopefully, I would look for the offense to hit full swing once again. Bettis looked tired on Sunday, he is not built for 30 plus carries on 3 consecutive Sundays. Has anybody heard anything about Plex lately, I know he was taken off the field Sunday for a hamstring tweak but I never heard anything different...

I went by TAE saying about them playing 9 games. I'm sorry I don't have the Steelers record or schedule memorized because I really don't care how many games they've played. I should've known that there was 10 games so far since the Vikes are 6-4. I'm sorry, Ham. Thank you for correcting me.

I don't care for the Vikes either, but i know their record and know that most teams have 10 games, none less because they would only have more if the bye week hadn't fallen for them yet...

The only reason i responded the way i did was because someone had said that they could go 16-1 and get a first round bye a while back in another pittsburgh going to the superbowl thread, and yes, i agree, i love the Steelers more than anybody else here, but there is more than enough topics and threads about them and the Superbowl.
