I couldnt stop laughing after reading Yard Dogs post regarding McConnellsburg recruiting players.
You cant drop a bomb like that without having some meat to back it up. A few questions that come to mind are:
How, what does MBurg have that would attract talent to move there to play basketball?
Why, if you are a stud bball player, wouldnt you look at an offer from one of the Catholic Schools and get a better deal?
Where do these recruits come from? Burnt Cabins? Fannett Metal? Harrrisburg?
You have to weigh in with some more detail YD!

A lot of the farm boys in Bedford County will be intimidated by McConnellsburg because they will be staring five black guys this season. McConnellsburg has the talent, but do they have the disipline? CT has Byers, but do they have depth? Shanksville should not be underestimated - they have the best shooters, collectively. The best shooter is on Ridge's team, and the Lions have a shot at the SHL title. Shaffer and Novak have to average double digits for that to happen though. NBC is the sleeper. I have the utmost confidence in Eichelberger and Rodland - they're good ballers. NBC will sweep Everett and Tussey this year and split with Ridge.
