I think the Utes will be distracted by Urban Meyer leaving for Florida and play a bad game. I think Pitt plays a great game and pulls a huge upset. I still think Utah scores 30+ points but Pitt wins 38-35

and Pitt won't be distracted by Harris leaving for Stanford? Nice point, too bad it works both ways...

It really doesn't work both ways, because Pitt was not going to extend Harris' contract before he resigned. For weeks there was speculation that Harris would not return. Whereas URBAN just up and left, period!!! Different set of circumstances.

its realy too bad for utah that they didnt have to play a team from a good conference that would have tested them and we could have seen how good they realy were. pitt wasnt even remotely able to compete with them. (EDIT: THIS WAS JUST TRYING TO GET THINGS GOING AND IS OFF TOPIC. A yellow card has been issued.) They realy should throw the big east out of the bcs and have an extra at large team. i actually over estimated pitt and thought they would keep it closer but oh well. they should have played temple in the pennsylvania city challenge bowl. it would have been a much better game

Coach **The other stuff is something that can be said. Bringing up WVU and their recruiting and that stuff is not what will be tolerated.

Utah proved to be a better team than I thought. I would have loved to have seen a final 4 (still excluding Boise).

Actually if there was a Bowl in Pennsylvania, let's call it the Hershey Highway Classic or the Hershey Chocolate Bowl then I think PSU would have got the invite over Pitt.

They won a conference that saw BC defeat an ACC team (N.Carolina) and WVU play FSU tough. It's not the SEC or Big 12 or even the Big 10 (since I'm sure that's where you were going with this) But there are several Big 11 teams at the bottom who would not have fared much better in the Big East.

As I watched the game I had to wonder, how good is Utah? Unfortunately we'll never know. Like Coach, I think including them with Auburn (Boy I wish they had been paired in a BCS Bowl) in a final four would have been awesome this year.

Utah is an excellent football team. They deserve to be ranked #2 or #3 in the final polls.

2 or 3? The loser of the V-Tech Auburn game, OU USC game, and probably even UM and UT game, are all better than Utah. Might not have a better offensive PLAYBOOK, but they're a more solid team. It's not hard to rack up big numbers against bad teams. Look at Jamario Thomas. I wanna see Alex Smith run wild and get away with 60 of those little tosses against a team that isn't Colorado State. Yes, Utah is very good. However, they lucked out and played a team in a bowl game that even you Pitters know has a bad defense. And it doesn't exactly make things difficult whenever you can get away with blitzing every play and knowing that the other head coach is for some idiotic reason not going to make any adjustments.

I was so happy that Utah got a chance to prove the the mid-major colleges could compete with with the major conferences. Not only compete but completely destroy. I know that most teams in mid-major conference would lose and only the top teams such as utah, louiville, and boise state could probably do it, but i was pumped to finally have a mid-major in the BCS and win . . . BIG.

Cant wait for OU
