How about Utah blitzing on every down in the 4th quarter while up 28 points. Meyer will get his.

Re: Utah's Coach
HH,
I didn't like that any more than you did, but I don't think Meyer is the type of guy who will just "back off" and "lay back" and just allow Pitt to score. Pitt was physically dominated in every sense of the word. It was a very disappointing performance from Pitt's standpoint to say the least. I expected Pitt to compete and it didn't happen, especially in the second half.
It didn't help matters that Petitti and Simonitis were injured, but it wouldn't have made a difference in the final outcome.
Unfortunately, I think that the jerk will win at Florida, and win A LOT. He's a pretty solid, bright coach. I'd love for Pitt to play Florida in the Fiesta at this time next season and lay the smack down on him...

Re: Utah's Coach
Sure Pitt might be young, but let's not kid ourselves here. With MUCH better players at UF than Utah, Meyer might beat Pitt by 75 points.

Re: Utah's Coach
I think locally that we have learned that a team with "much better players" doesn't always win, no matter who the coach is.

Re: Utah's Coach
At least he's not slipping backward like other coaches.

Re: Utah's Coach
Actually, he IS slipping backwards for 2 reasons.
1. Dolphins won 4 games.
2. College students go to college at about age 18. They leave at about age 22 or 23. When you go BACK to college, in whatever set, you move backwards. Also, coaching in the NFL (head job) is the highest a coach can make it while still actively coaching. Coaches get promoted from the college ranks. WANNY is now back in the farm system, because he was FIRED.

Re: Utah's Coach
Looked like Meyer has a little Spurrier in him. He will fit in well in the swamp. Can you imagne Chris Leak in that offense next year?

Auburn and Utah should have been the game but it wasnt and I not a huge fan of Disrespecting a team by running up the score
