There isn't a team around that has the following the Steelers do.

I attended a Steeler/Colts game in the early 90's in Indy. The Steelers won that game and you would've thought it was a home game for them. It seemed like half the people in the dome were Steeler fans.

Any time you watch the Steelers on a road game, it seems they have more fans there than is typical for an away team. Just my opinion.

Yes I definitely agree LionPride. The true Steelers fans are always out there to every game cheering their team on. I remember the one announcer calling Jacksonville Jacksonburgh because of the numerous steeler fans that had come to the game. Hey I'm on the Steeler bandwagon with everyone else, I've been a fan since I first understood football. I hope the Steelers take it home, but let's just get through playoffs.

Bandwagon jumpers or not once a runner are fine with me as long as they are buying Steelers products and supporting them. Anything to show support for the team...
I was there and I will always be there, takes alot to be a fan through the think and thin(i.e. PSU fans) I know all to well what it's like to watch a team that looks so good one week and look terrible the next. It is disgusting that there are so many pop up steeler fans, and just like the pop ups on the internet, it makes me mad as #ell. But oh well, whatever makes them happy and supports the Steelers.
Yeah, like me, i love both PSU and San Fransico, haha, what a great combination uh? But i moved to this area a while ago and ever since i have been here i have seen the dedication to the steelers, and that is awesome. i dont think there are as many bandwagoners as you guys think there are. You guys have a great fan base. I personnaly have always liked hines ward and the heart and dedication he has for the game and his teammates. i have watched roeth since he was at miami of ohio because i like the mid-major conferences haha. how is this for a fact, he didnt get to play QB in high school until his senior year because the coaches son was the QB. but anywho, i have never really rooted for the steelers i have just liked what they do and liked their organization so now i do root for them sorry if you consider me a bandwagoner. You guys have great fans and hopefully the 49ers will soon (god that organization sucks but hey they are my team) and keep with it PSU fans, we will be back soon enough.

Yep, you are a bandwagon jumper, like one player or a team for one year because he/the team is doing good. But at least you don't say that you have been for the longest time and ever since you have been born. Unless you're born and raised in Steeler Country, you can't really be a Steeler fan, 100%, but all jumpers welcome...

notice to all bandwagonjumpers!!! you must go this weekend to purchase steelers products, this weekend is the deadline otherwise you may not be considered when tabulaing the bandwagonjumping results. please hurry. try shenk and tittle,or dunhams, or even a online purchase will do. an authentic jersey will make you an official member. good luck!

*** RESPECT IS EARNED NOT GIVEN ***

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
