pittsburgh's goin to the superbowl?
Re: pittsburgh's goin to the superbowl?
No, they do deserve to be there but im not sure they can mentally win but by the score right now id have to say im questioning my NFC prediction. Freddie mitchell stepped up and i never realized how veristal brian westbrook is, but i still somewhat believe atlanta can edge out philly.
Completely disregard anything i have to say. It usually doesn't make sense.
The Steelers won't be going to the Super Bowl. Ham, I was finally right about them. I want an apology from you. Haha. They did have a great year. They just weren't as good of an overall team as the Patriots. Also, the Patriots have a 100 times better coach than the Steelers.
good job brother

Re: pittsburgh's goin to the superbowl?
nothing to be real sad about being 16-2 with a rookie qb. dont worry they will be back to the top in no time
lol, appologize, hardly. Appologize for what, you being right 2 in 18 tries, ok, I'm sorry you're not right more often. They played terrible last night, and if they played again today, they probably would get beat again. The D struggled, they were outta character, the tried to sit back and defend the pass when we all know that thier strength is to get after the Q by bringing 6 guys or more. I said all week to beat the pats, they have to be the pats, force turnovers, don't have t.o.'s of your own, and control the clock. They didn't do any of those things and the result of the game shows exactly that. 16-2 is nothing to thumb your nose at, although it's not what everybody wanted, it's a start and a much improved team from the 6-10 team last year. All the EXPERTS said that Pittsburgh would be lucky to break .500 this year before the season. 15-1 showed everybody not to look away from this team. They are not losing much next season either. BRB will be back, Duce, the entire O-line with Kendall Simmons, Casey Hampton, Kimo and Aaron. The LB's will be back with the exception of K. Bell who missed all but 3 games this year, he is a free agent and will make some other team in the NFL happy to acquire him sometime over these next 3 or so months. Improvements are still needed in the shaky secondary but it is much improved from the previous 3 years. They MUST and I repeat, MUST re-sign Ward and Burress. Burress showed how important he is to the offense this year and it will be a huge mistake if they let this guy go as a free agent. Ward will be re-signed, he is a Pittsburgh guy and will probably always be a Pittsburgh guy. 2004 was not a bad season, 2005 shouldn't be either, hopefully, if they make it to the AFC Championship game next year it's on the road...

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Yeah, the 6'5" Burress is so important to this offense that he can't jump higher than a 5'10" corner. He has talent, but no heart. I won't be sad to see him go, and he will go.
With Burress, it's all about "me". He cried around that he wasn't involved, but he had opportunities, and he didn't capitalize on them. So now it's everyone elses fault he's gone.
Hopefully, Cowher will go with him, but I won't hold my breath. Cowher is a good coach to make a medicore team a contender, but he's not good enough to take a good team and make them a champion. That's been proven 5 times.
