This was a great match, but why is everyone saying that Brandon was running away from the one match? He was wrestling a weight heavier, that is 10 times harder to do than anyone can imagine. I don't think coach Clark asked him if he wanted to wrestle whomever, he does what every coach does, what's best for the team. Coach Clark bumped everyone up weights to win and that's what they did. Come districts brandon will get his chance to wrestle his weight. He's a good kid real tough.... People don't need to question that especially people that have no clue and have never even met the kid

I doubt the vast majority of fans from Bedford believe Miller was running. I'm sure it was just to ruffle his feathers, which I was glad to see it didn't.
He has certainly matured since his earlier days of threatening to beat up people for talking about his brother. That is what parenting/school/athletics can do. To me he is a kid I can cheer for when he isn't wrestling a bedford kid.

In a completely unrelated tone and one not up for argument, I would like to say that Bison1 is a dork.

I find it almost comical the amount of attention that has been given to the crowd at a high school sporting event. I suppose some "fans" would like to watch events in a room devoid of any noise. God forbid a fan would get a headache from the excited cheers of high school kids. What in the world are high school kids doing at a sporting event anyways? I get the feeling that matches/games should be strictly for sane, mature adults. Why should kids be allowed to attend and have fun cheering for their friends and in the process "bothering" adults? Were some members of Bedford's Stampede out of line at the recent wrestling match - undoubtedly? Did they deserve to be accosted by adults - NEVER!! Perhaps Ridge and Bedford should simply end all competitions. And by the way, please take the time to read Todd Irwin's commentary in today's Altoona Mirror. I think it puts the entire situation into the proper perspective.

I don't think we understand or realize what we had there at that match. People from Clearfield,State College, Altoona and even Maryland wrote about the crowd and the excitement of this match and how they wished they had this kind of crowd and atmosphere. This match was talked about statewide in wrestling forums and circles. Shut up about it and enjoy what we have in this rivalry!! It was the most exciting wrestling match you will see all year and people outside of Bedford County wished they had what we had. An example PO and Altoona had just 70 fans in the Altoona gym last week. We laugh at that when we see what we had at Bedford. Enough of it already and lets talk about something else!!
