The Falcons earned a seed to next week's Mid-Penn Tournament by finishing out with last night's win over Middletown. LD, Mechanicsburg and Red Land are all tied atop the Keystone Division at 13-3 but LD and Red Land advance on their head-to-head records. Mike Dell led the Falcons with 21 points while Nick Klinepeter had 13 for the Blue Raiders.
RED LAND 59, GETTYSBURG 56:Curtis Marshall led the Patriots with 16 points as they got the win they needed to secure a spot in the Mid-Penn tournament. Red Land will enter as the top seed from the Keystone division.
TRINITY 80, SUSQUEHANNA TWP. 56:Junior guard Brian Morris exploded for 32 points as the Shamrocks broke a little three-game losing streak. The Shamrocks averaged 20 points per quarter and outscored the Indians 6-2 from the 3-point arc. Kirk Peters led with 20 points for Susquehanna Twp.
CENTRAL DAUPHIN 66, HOLLIDAYSBURG 41:Mark Mackey led with 18 points while Zac Smith and Mike Dunn added 11 each for the Rams in a non-league matchup. CD opened the game up with a big 18-4 second quarter rally. Mackey had six of his points in that frame.
MILTON HERSHEY 76, SHIPPENSBURG 62:Josh Pope had 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Spartans in the crossover game. The Spartans led 21-15 at the quarter and maintained a 10-poitn lead for much of the second half. Troy Thumma's 21 points paced the Greyhounds.
JAMES BUCHANAN 56, CAMP HILL 46:The Rockets took a big 18-point lead into the fourth quarter then held off a late rally by the Lions for the win. Dion Uhman led with 17 points and Shane Rife scored 15 for James Buchanan. Jeff Conway scored six of his 11 points in the fourth quarter for Camp Hill.
EAST PENNSBORO 70, SCOTLAND 47:Mickey Shuler's 22 points led East Pennsboro to the lopsided win. John Breski added 17 for the Panthers while Bryan DeBrest scored 15 to pace the Cadets.
