You want results?

UGONN- out to N.C. State. (10 SEED)
The PITTs- out to Pacific (8 SEED)
Syra(no ex-)cuse out to VERMONT. (13 SEED)
Boston Chokllege out to Wisconsin Milwaukee. (12 SEED)

Those results speak enough volumes right there...

What about WVU over Wake Forest? What about 2 Big East teams in the Sweet Sixteen, only 1 less than the almighty ACC? Heck, the ACC was lucky to get 3 in. Duke almost went down to that juggernaut Miss. St.

The ACC was the best conference is college basketball this year, but the Big East wasn't too far behind. You guys are grossly exaggerating the ACC's stature.

3 losing to a 14

2 losing to a 10

4 losing to a 12

2 for 6, not bad in baseball, terrible for terms of basketball teams advancing 2 games in a 6 game tourney.

ACC, 3 for 5, 60%
Big LEast, 2-6, 33%

Not enough samples to make your statistics valid. Sorry.

FINAL results there pony boy. we measure succes by championships not by almost.not played with them for a half.karl malone quick, what do you think of.....how about charles barkley?.....dan marino looked real good for many years but did he win a championship?no same thing here when the acc snatches a national championship from the grimy hands of the big east.then we'll talk until then just be happy that I picked duke to win.now you actually have a chance.until then there were just amateurs picking.

since this is the chosen measuring stick, i must point out that big ten has 3 of their 5 tournament teams into the sweet sixteen. this must mean that the big ten is equal to the acc....

Here's a valid Statistic, PITT, BOSTON COLLEGE, UGONN, and SYRACUSE SUCKED when they needed to get W's. poor moldy, it's ok, you can be p*ssed next year about PITT being terrible again...

I'm not pissed. Just don't see the Big TADOO. Unless the Big East and ACC actually go head to head, how can you compare them to each other? Now because of this, I am proposing that next year the field of 64 will actually be a ROUND ROBIN. Forget this one loss and you're out stuff. Each team will play all 63 other teams. A total of 3,969 games will be played. The team with the best record will be the National Champ. We'll call it March-April-May Madness!
