As well as Iowa was playing at the end of that season, Pitt wouldn't have held Iowa to 60. Do we need to bring up again the lack of adjustments in that bowl game? They only ran the same play 40 times, I mean, what am I even talkin' about?
Please bring back the "Big Ten Sucks" threads, pretty please? Iowa is only ranked #2 in some preseason polls as stated by ESPN.com, Ohio State is supposed to be load to the gills, and Michigan is good for 10 wins like usual.

How did this change to football?? That is still half a year away.
As for basketball, the next two days will tell the tale. I assume Illinois will take care of UW - Mil. If Duke beats MSU and NC State beats Wisconsin, then I will concede that the Big 10 was down. However, if MSU and Wisconsin win, I will laugh heartily at all the ACC-lovers and Big East fans. If they split the two games, then I don't know what?
If you do want to talk about football, start a thread. Unfortunately, some JoePa fans will invade with crap about how PSU will be back next year. Maybe we should start a thread to talk about decent Big 10 programs and then have the moderator delete any PSU garbage.

What constitutes PSU as being back? Is going to a bowl game considered being back? Because if that's the criteria, I'd bet that they will "be back". Besides, PITT is 1-5 in NCAA 2005 in the year 2006, THAT is soooo realistic it's not funny. Maybe PSU will win the National Championship by then if this holds the key to the future...

thats what happens when you are on a message board where the majority of the people who post are penn state fans....maybe you should find a different message board that only talks about "decent big 10 programs."
also, why would you laugh at fans of big east basketball if mich st and wisky win this weekend? are dook and nc st. somehow tied to the big east now?
