Scott Corson Chooses Pitt!

Defensive Lineman Scott Corson of Johnstown High School has verbally Committed to the UNiversity of Pittsburgh. Corson, who transferred from Conemaugh Valley to Johnstown this past season, held offers from Michigan State, Maryland, and Pitt. The 6-5 280 lbs. D-lineman joins fellow teammate Larod Stephens at Pittsburgh, where both will be playing their college ball.

Also, TE/DE Jeff Minemyer of Bishop Carroll currently holds offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, and Rutgers.

Transferred or moved? Got to make that clear if you bring it up.

Does not matter, either way it was a school transfer, and either way is totally irrelevant. Congrats to Scott and his family!

It matters to the PIAA. Transfers for athletics are illegal. Moving is moving. Not irrelevant to the Conemaugh Valley football program if he just up and left.
