Why even bring it up at all??? This is absolutely ridiculous!!! THen the poor kid had to worry about it thru the playoffs...Sounds like Roberts knew what he was doing... Grow up.

Common sense would tell you that the parochial director should have kept an eye (which he obviously did) and advised the people involved at the appropriate time.

He didn't have to predict the future like you said. He should have known that if Hoffman played again in 7th grade, that a potential problem could exist.

He dropped the ball. Actually my theory says he just "held onto the ball" to see where Kurt went to high school.

I for one never blamed McCort. I blame Rick Roberts for this matter. It is just his affiliation with McCort and the parochial school in general that makes people bring McCort into the mix.

As I stated before, if Roberts was the parochial league president, was he in charge when Hoffman repeated 7th grade? If so, then he should have been responsible for advising the Hoffmans.

Again, if Hoffman attended McCort, this matte would not be an issue.
