Bedford got destroyed 15-0 today in 3 innings vs. Richland. First time in Bedford history of being shut out in a 3 inning loss. Sophomore Mike Salas started on the hill for the Bison and got shelled for 10 in the first frame. Levi Clapper came in and gave up 5 more in the next two innings to set the final at 15-0. 2 games down, 2 to go this week...

Bedford beat Everett, 9-8 last night. A big win for the Bisons after that rough one.

FH and Ridge still on the plate for this week. I'm guessing the coaches were game planning for coming up with the possibility for 3 wins this week, and that included in throwing 3 sophomores vs. a usually solid Richland ball club. The sophomores will be key to a good Bedford ball club this year, and nothing like going through the sophomore slump early in the season. Should be interesting to see who steps up in the remaining 2 games this week.

Yes it should be interesting for the remaining two games this week. Although that 15-0 loss to Richland has to have an impact on the team.

Sounds like Richland has a very solid team.

They usually do, for a small school, they know how to hang tough in the LHAC. But what I'm interested in, is if Bedford gets to play them again with the best on the mound for the Bison's, scheduling this week has totally messed with what they would normally plan on doing.
