mu and shc baseball

Post by halfy24 »

It's early in the season but i must say i'm thoroughly disappointed by the performance of both teams. SHC makes little league mistakes, could be coaching. Mount Union is just not performing like the dominant teams of the past.

It's starting to become a trend in this area. All sports teams are lacking either due to participation or because the kids can supposedly find something better to do with their time. As a sports fan it is disgusting to watch high school baseball in this area.

With 2 games under their belts I can certainly see why you would be making such comments about the play of teams. Give 'em a few games, why don't ya.
Much of sports these days have become "talent oriented". Fundamentals have become a thing of the past for many young players. So, natural talent becomes the major factor. Smaller schools will suffer even when the coaches emphasize fundamental play.

SHC is struggling and so is mt.union but it's early in the season hopefully things will turn around for both of them.
