Does anyone in here have any luck using roster tails.? I've been fishin for about 8 years now and never caught one when I was using them. I mostly stick with nightcrawlers and mill worms. What does eveyone else use?

If you're fishing for trout on a lake or a large stream, use a 1/16 ounce yellow roostertail. Fish it right near the surface of the water. Deadly. I usually stick to live bait for fast water.

Those work great on the steelheads too (I know - just an overgrown trout).

But I've never had any luck with them on the trout around here. What's the secret?

Larger Panther Martins with a yellow body and silver blade work very well for me in deeper riffles.

Didn't get to go out either. Had a wedding, softball game, and work. I'll be going out tomorrow.
It looked as though the fishermen down here did pretty well today.
